For dessert, we shared Madagascar vanilla creme brulee with fresh berries and peanut butter pudding with pretzel ice cream. Then entrees of butter pan roasted half chicken with leeks, tomato jam, mushrooms and potato dumplings and a 12-ounce bourbon rubbed Skirt steak with Appalachian taters, aioli, arugula, chimichurri and dill pickled spice onion with BBQ fried broccoli and southern street corn. For dinner, we started with deviled eggs, Parker House rolls with Cajun butter and herb butter, Kale salad with apple cider vinaigrette, bacon lardons, Georgia pecans and Florida aged cheddar. For lunch, we had a crispy fried chicken sandwich with Bama BBQ sauce and bread and butter pickle on a brioche bun, a H&H pimento cheese burger with double short rib patties, pimento cheese, bacon, mustard and spiced pickles, strawberry cobbler with citrus struesel and vanilla ice cream and coconut cream pie with almond crust, fluffed cream and mango-passion fruit sorbet.
